Parcent
Parcent is located in the Valencian Community, Spain. The municipality borders to the municipalities Alcalalí, Benigembla, Murla and Tarbena.
The village of Parcent is situated in the Vall de Pop Valley of La Marina Alta, surrounded by rolling hills and mountains, west of Jalon and about one hour north of the provincial capital city of Alicante.
Parcent claims the best paella restaurant in the area, ‘Lera’, where a 3-course lunch of the house includes mouth-watering paella, and with a bottle of wine included.
Traditionally the main industry of Parcent relied on almond and orange farming in the surrounding area. The village has numerous restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets and all the shops and facilities you would need.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the village including a small supermarket with adjoining bar, butchers and bakery along with a modern farmacia (Pharmacy), also the village has a local bodega with regular tasting sessions.
